She is removed from the investigation and finds that Iggy has had his memories of recent events erased. Meanwhile, Vincent finds himself on the run from a proxy and then the city’s authorities.

In einer Zukunft, in der die Welt von einer nuklearen Apokalypse zerstörte wurde, ist allein in der durch eine Außenhülle geschützten Stadt Romdeau ein Überleben für die Menschen möglich. Die Menschen und Androide, die so genannten Autoreivs, leben in der Kuppelstadt friedlich miteinander, die jedoch unter der totalen Kontrolle einer autoritären Regierung steht. Die Geheimagentin Re-I Mayer untersucht gerade einen mysteriösen Mordfall, als sie eine unheilvolle Nachricht erhält: Etwas wird „erwachen". In selbiger Nacht noch wird sie von einem deformierten Monster angegriffen. Wer oder was war das undefinierbare Wesen? Bei ihrer Suche nach dem Monster stößt Re-I auf Informationen, die den autoritären Stadtstaat ins Chaos stürzen könnten.
